Our Philosophy/理念
We are as a bridge of art where Japanese and the world sensibilities resonate with each other
日本と世界の感性が響き合う、芸術の架け橋として活動する
ZEN ten ARTS Association, based in Paris, has created a platform where Japanese and Worldwide artists can inspire each other's sensibilities.
Collaboration with the ZEN exhibitions held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and Ginza is a testament to our exchange. We value professional yet warm-hearted dialogue.
Our unwavering principle is not to hold transient events, but to continue building bridges in art with kindness.
ZEN ten ARTS Associationは、プロフェッショナルでありながらも温かみのある対話を大切にしています。
一過性のイベントではなく、優しさを持って芸術の架け橋を
築き続けることが、ZEN ten ARTS Associationの変わらぬ理念です。

Ichiro Nagamori
Deputy Director/副理事
Ichiro Nagamori is the Representative of ZEN ten Japan and the visionary founder of the ZEN-ten movement.
The ZEN Ten Association in Japan operates under the core conviction that art transcends all boundaries between professional
and amateur creators.
By leading exhibitions where a diverse spectrum of artists converge, ZEN ten has long played a pivotal role in shaping the Japanese artistic landscape.
Currently, the organization hosts international artists at prestigious museums across Japan, fostering a global artistic exchange.
Driven by the philosophy that art should be an open dialogue with society rather than a privilege reserved for specialists,
ZEN ten Japan pioneers a unique, non-juried exhibition format,
where visitors vote for the awards.
Breaking the traditional selection committees,
it empowers the audience to determine the awards through a direct voting system, creating a truly democratic platform for appreciation.
As a vanguard of cross-cultural dialogue,
ZEN ten Japan continues to champion the exquisite aesthetic harmony found between Japanese and global traditions, contributing significantly to the evolution of international art.
